• The Trophy measures 33.5” in height, from the base of the plinth to the trop of the handles, 24” in width and weighs 11.6kgs
• The Trophy is made from sterling silver with a silver gilt harp logo mounted onto a black granite knop. The plinth is black lacquered wood with a Sterling silver engraving band.
• The main body of the trophy is engraved with the Guinness Premiership logo, with the lower half of the body being chased with a repeating "pint of Guinness" detail. The foot is also engraved with a repeating Guinness logo.
• The main inspiration for the design was to echo the previous Premiership Rugby trophy by having a similar silhouette - helping to build recognition, but also making sure there were distinct points of difference to make it a uniquely "Guinness" trophy - this was done by taking elements of the famous harp logo and using it on the tops of the handles - as well as having a silver gilt harp logo applied to the granite knop.
• The Trophy was made by Aspreys.
• The £30,000 trophy is given to the winning club at the end of the season and a new trophy produced each year
• Whenever the trophy is taken out a security man is by its side every step of the way
• The busiest time of the year for the trophy is the end of the season, last season it traveled 1670 miles whilst on a tour of TV studios and clubs
