 The All Black international fly half Dave Hill arrived at Bristol in November 2006 fresh from the New Zealand NPC final and made an immediate impression as he pulled the strings in a series of Bristol victories. However, he was forced to sit on the sidelines as the season reached its climax having suffered a compound fracture of his little finger against Newcastle which ruled him out for 10 weeks. Having enjoyed the summer off and with a decent preseason behind him, Hill could have a massive impact on Bristol’s 2007-7 campaign.
