Calling all ladies for a fun weekend of Pink rugby! Never thought about going to a rugby game before? Well kick that thought into touch because the Guinness Premiership is offering women a weekend of rugby with a difference.
Across the 18-20 April all 6 Guinness Premiership rugby matches are turning pink to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Care. All female tickets (subject to availability) will be £15 with £4.25 being donated directly to Breast Cancer Care. Ladies will be treated to an exclusive day with female-focussed treats and the opportunity to meet the players after the game!
Did you ever think rugby could be this fun? It doesn’t matter if you know nothing about the game, this weekend is all about getting your girlfriends together to show your support for the 44,000 women and 300 men who are newly diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK. And if you needed any more persuading, a variety of special match day activities will be on offer at each of the grounds. For example exclusive ladies lounges with complimentary drinks, beauty treatments and the opportunity to meet some of the players after the game, so check out your local club’s website for details.
So make sure you book your tickets and you could be having a post game debrief with Jonny Wilkinson or Mike Tindall before you know it!
P.S. Even the referees will be dressed in pink so make sure you are too!
