With nine out of ten breast cancers detected by women themselves, or their partners, it is really important to be breast aware.  Getting to know your breasts and how they look and feel means you will notice any changes quickly. While most changes in your breasts won't be breast cancer, early detection can mean more effective treatment if cancer is found.

Breast Awareness Five Point Code:

  1. Know what's normal for you
  2. Know what changes to look and feel for
  3. Look and feel
  4. Report and changes to your GP without delay
  5. Attend routine breast screening if you are aged 50 or over
