London Irish's one to watch - Peter Hewat
Peter HewatPeter Hewat, who joined London Irish during the summer, arrives with a formidable point-scoring reputation at the top level of southern hemisphere rugby. The 28-year-old full back has finished in the top two point-scoring positions in the Super12/14 tournament for three years in a row.   Since making his debut for the New South Wales Waratahs against Scotland in 2004, Peter has scored over 600 points to move into outright second on the all time list of point-scorers for the provincial side behind only the great Matt Burke.  He has scored a total of 636 points in 50 appearances for the province.   Peter has represented Australia at Under 21, Sevens and A levels and in the Prime Minister’s XV.  London Irish is confident that he will maintain his point-scoring feats in the Guinness Premiership.
