| Following an MRI scan on Monday, London Wasps' winger Tom Voyce underwent examination yesterday (Tuesday) by a specialist consultant on the left shoulder he dislocated in Wasps Guinness Premiership Semi Final against Bath on Sunday. |
Voyce will have surgery today (Wednesday) to stabilise the shoulder joint.
Following surgery, Voyce will complete a rehabilitation programme expected to last three months. His rehab will focus on recovering full fitness for the start of the 2008/09 season.
Fly half Danny Cipriani was discharged from hospital yesterday (Tuesday) following surgery on Sunday on a fracture dislocation of his right ankle.
The operation, performed by ankle specialist James Calder, went exceptionally well.
Cipriani is currently at home and in a comfortable state. For effective healing to take place, it is essential that his ankle remains elevated for the next two weeks. Therefore he will remain at home during this time. |
