Reaching out to our local communities has always been a central part of the Premier Rugby mission. All 12 of our teams –and every player – gets involved in programmes related to fitness, sport, health, education, and social inclusion.
This Wednesday, only three days before the Premiership finals at Twickenham, we will be announcing the winners of our two annual community awards, given to the individual player and overall club best exemplifying this community spirit.

These community efforts are being noticed around the UK. Derek Wyatt MP, a former England international, said, “The short-listed clubs have all created and delivered policies that have further embedded them into their communities.”  The Guardian also published an article about the educational programmes of the Saracens club, which happens to be nominated in both of our community awards this year.
