| Harlequins have announced the re-signing of seven of their current squad, who will all take up first team contracts. |
Full back Mike Brown, who came through the academy system at Quins, will renew his first team contract, along with front rower Aston Croall, hooker Tani Fuga and lock Ollie Kohn, until June 2010.
Three more Quins academy players have also been rewarded with first team contracts. Prop Alex Rogers and flanker Chris Robshaw will remain at the club until at least June 2010, whilst winger Charlie Amesbury has signed a one year contract.
Harlequins Director of Rugby, Dean Richards said:
"I am delighted that all these players have resigned for Harlequins. We are building a strong squad for the future and it is great to see so many home grown players coming through.
The Quins academy is doing a tremendous job developing young players. With Mike Brown, Chris Robshaw, Charlie Amesbury and Alex Rogers all coming through the system, it proves that you don't always need to go out and buy in big names, when you have the young talent at home." |
