David Doherty Signs For Sale Sharks

Sale Sharks has announced that it has concluded the signing of 21 year old winger David Doherty on a 2 year contract.

Sale Sharks CEO James Jennings said, “I am delighted to be able to announce that David Doherty will join Sale Sharks at the start of next season. David is a full back or winger with explosive pace and has made a real impact in his first season at Wasps, following his move from Leeds Carnegie last season. I am sure that David will make a significant contribution at Sharks and will fit in well with our other talented backs.”

Sale Sharks DOR Philippe Saint Andre said, “I am pleased that David is joining Sale Sharks, he is a young player with plenty of potential. He made his mark at Leeds and has played in some big games for Wasps this season. I am sure he will fit in with us at Sale Sharks and we look forward to his arrival at pre season training.”
