| Sale Sharks Finalise Their Pre Season Calendar |

| Sale Sharks are pleased to announce their pre season warm up games ahead of the opening round of Guinness Premiership. |
The Sharks will travel to France at the start of August to take part in the Challenge Vaquerin. Sharks will play Perpignan at St Affrique on 6th August and Montpellier at Camares on 9th August, before returning back to the UK.
Sedgeley Park will visit Edgeley Park for a game against the Jets on Friday 22nd August (Kick Off 6-30pm) and this will be followed by Sale Sharks First Team playing Leeds Carnegie (kick off 8pm). Leeds have recently appointed World Cup Winner Neil Back as Director Of Rugby and have signed twin code International Henry Paul on a two year deal. The Sharks final warm up game will be against Lyon at Edgeley Park on Thursday 28th August Kick Off 7-45pm. The Lyon Game will take the place of the Inter Squad Game.
Commenting on the warm up games Sale Sharks Director of Rugby Philippe Saint Andre said, "The Challenge Vaquerin will be very tough for us but will help the players in their preparation for the new season. The double header on Friday 22nd August will give me the opportunity to look at all my players in action on the same evening. It will also give us the opportunity to learn and put into practice the Experimental Law Variations (ELV's). Places are up for grabs for the new season and it should be a great night for the supporters too."
The Sale Sharks Season Ticket covers the double header on 22nd August and the Lyon game on the 28th. |
