After an unexpected weekend off, Sale Sharks are raring to go against a very physical Saracens side this Saturday at Vicarage Road. Kick off will be at 5.35PM and the match will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Kingsley Jones met with journalists today in the EAS Fitness Suite at Sale Sharks training ground. Expecting a tough game against table topping Saracens, Kingsley Jones stated,"Without giving too much away, we feel we have a good game to take them on. Obviously, it's no secret they kick the ball quite a lot. They are a very good side; well drilled, their set piece is excellent, their defence, chase and organisation is fantastic. They've got quality players in every position, three times over in most positions, so they are able to rotate and keep their squad fresh."

Saracens lost their 100% winning record in the Guinness Premiership last Friday at Worcester, but remain the only unbeaten team following the 12-all draw at Sixways. Jones admitted, "It's a big challenge for us. In one way, we've got everything to gain and nothing to lose against a top team. We're going to go there and give it our best shot. I feel we have some good tactical kickers. I believe if we start better than we have done previously in away games, we have every chance of doing something there but we're going to have to be at our best."

Saracens have won the last six matches against Sale Sharks at their home of Vicarage Road, whilst the Sharks' only previous victory in thirteen previous visits was 40-32 in the Premiership on 25th September 2005.

Sale Sharks are coming off their first away win of the season at Leeds and will be aiming to keep their success against Saracens this weekend.

Jones commented, "The boys are keen. There aren't too many tired bodies around the place and they're looking forward to playing against, what will be, a very physical Saracens side."

Aware that Saracens will be a tough opposition to beat Jones admitted, "But ultimately, you have to go into every game with the mindset of having a go and, particularly in the last week, it's a great opportunity to challenge the best team in the league away from home without too much pressure."
